Health Unit Programs and Services

Adventures in Cooking is a program for kids aged 8-12. The Health Unit trains community groups to lead the program. The Health Unit also trains community partners to lead community kitchens.

The Health Unit’s North Bay office has a Teaching Kitchen that can be booked by community organizations and groups.

Community Kitchen Modules

Community kitchens help develop skills to prepare healthy and nutritious meals and to become better in budgeting and shopping. Here are some modules that you can use in the community kitchen or at home.
