- Assessment of sexual dysfunction (arousal, erectile, or libido difficulties)
- Assessment and referrals for infertility
- Assessment, testing or treatment of PCOS, menstrual pain/cramps and endometriosis
- Assessment and treatment of a miscarriage
- Assessment, treatment and symptoms of perimenopause/menopause
- Blood work for herpes
- Blood work for pregnancy
- Breast exams or mammograms
- Cervical cancer screening (for individuals with a primary care provider)
- Colon cancer screening
- Testing and treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Visit a primary care provider or a walk-in clinic if you require services that the Health Unit does not offer.
In case of a medical emergency, go to the nearest hospital.
Clinic Services
Our Sexual Health Clinic offers free, confidential services, including:
Protection and Prevention
- Low-cost contraception
- Low-cost emergency contraception
- Intrauterine contraception (IUC) insertion and removal (for individuals without a primary health care provider)
- Contraceptive implant insertion and removal
- HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
- Doxycycline post-exposure prophylaxis (doxyPEP)
- Free condoms and dental dams
- Free harm reduction supplies and naloxone kits
- Cervical cancer screening (for individuals without a primary care provider)
- Vaccines for HPV, hepatitis A, and hepatitis B, and imvamune (mpox) for those who qualify
- Referrals for transgender care

- Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and blood-borne infections (BBIs)

At our Sexual Health Clinic, you’ll find a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where you can have an open discussion about your sexual health. The clinic is staffed by administrative assistants, public health nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians.
