NORTH BAY, ON - The province of Ontario has launched an online portal for individuals who have been tested for COVID-19 to access their test result. By offering the online portal individuals can look up their own test result in a secure way on their computer or mobile device.

News Release: First Individual to Test Positive For COVID-19 From Community Transmission

NORTH BAY, ON - The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has evidence of community transmission of COVID-19 in our region. This means the virus is spreading within the community and is not linked to travel or a previously known individual who tested positive. News Release: Repatriated Travellers Confirmed Positive for COVID-19 in Health Unit District

NORTH BAY, ON - Two individuals from the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) region were repatriated from a cruise ship by the Canadian Government. The two individuals, a female and male both in their 70s, were transported to the Canadian Forces Base in Trenton on March 10. While in quarantine they developed symptoms and were isolated and tested positive for COVID-19.
