NORTH BAY, ON - November is here, meaning it is time to talk about fall prevention. The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) in collaboration with the local Stay On Your Feet (SOYF) coalition is bringing fall prevention conversations online. However, this doesn’t mean you need to keep the conversations online.

Public Service Announcement: Community Flu Clinic in Sundridge

SUNDRIDGE,ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is hosting a community flu clinic with COVID-19 precautions on November 2 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sundridge Arena, 14 Albert St. N.

Individuals are encouraged to book an appointment by calling 1-800-563-2808 ext. 5377. Individuals are reminded to wear their face covering.

If you are unable to attend the clinic, flu shots are available at your local pharmacy or by your health care provider.

SOUTH RIVER,ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is hosting a community flu clinic with COVID-19 precautions on November 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the South River Arena, 1 Lincoln Ave.

Individuals are encouraged to book an appointment by calling 1-800-563-2808 ext. 5377. Individuals are reminded to wear their face covering.

Public Service Announcement: Phone Scam Alert

NORTH BAY, ON - The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is warning the public about a scam we became aware of this morning. A concerned member of the public called the Health Unit to inquire about a call they received to participate in a phone survey from the Health Unit. The caller, pretending to be a Health Unit employee, asked questions about their COVID-19 status, pets and the number of people in the home.

The Health Unit is currently not conducting a survey specific to COVID-19....
