Public Service Announcement: Flu Shot Appointments Available in Mid-November

NORTH BAY, ON - Flu season is not yet underway and the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has received above average requests for the flu shot. As a result the Health Unit is now booking appointments into mid-November and will not be accepting further appointment bookings until the first week of November. Public Service Announcement: The Health Unit Confirms Second Case of COVID-19 in a School in the Nipissing District

NORTH BAY, ON - The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has confirmed a second individual in the Nipissing District has tested positive for COVID-19 at Chippewa Secondary School. The Health Unit has not declared an outbreak, as the cases do not have an epidemiological link, meaning they are not a part of the same class or cohort and transmission took place outside the school.
