Thank you to each and every one who has reached out and offered to assist with COVID-19 Immunization Clinics. This tremendous response has been both overwhelming and heart-warming. While we appreciate your enthusiasm more than you will ever know, we have sufficient volunteers at the moment. Please check back regularly as we will post on our website if and when we require more volunteers. We have always known that we live in a fabulous community and this outpouring of support has solidified this notion. Thank you again for your interest.

North Bay is known as the Gateway to the North and is located about three and a half hours north of Toronto and three and a half hours west of Ottawa. A branch office of the Health Unit is located in the south-western part of the district, in the Town of Parry Sound. This area is world renowned as the jewel of the 30,000 Islands of Georgian Bay. Located approximately two hours north of Toronto, Parry Sound is a commercial hub, serving a year-round population of 18,000 and a seasonal population of 60,000 plus. Parry Sound is rich in arts, culture and heritage and also the home town of hockey legend, Bobby Orr.
