Public Service Announcement : Update on North Bay Jail Outbreak

NORTH BAY, ON – A total of 33 members of the North Bay Jail community have tested positive for COVID-19 as of June 22 confirms the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit. At this time, 32 individuals in custody and one staff member have tested positive for COVID-19. On June 16, the Health Unit had upgraded the outbreak to facility wide, due to further spread of COVID-19 within the North Bay Jail.

L’approvisionnement en vaccins change continuellement et le Bureau de santé du district de North Bay-Parry Sound (Bureau de santé) ne peut garantir que les gens recevront une deuxième dose du même vaccin à ARNm qu’ils ont reçu pour leur première dose.

NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON - Individuals who are eligible to receive their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine are encouraged to get the first vaccine available to them. COVID-19 vaccine supply changes and the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is not able to guarantee that individuals will receive the same brand of mRNA vaccine for their second dose as their first.
