NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has received the first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for the district. The shipment is small and is allotted to residents of long-term care, as prioritized in phase one of the province of Ontario’s COVID-19 vaccination program.

NORTH BAY, ON - It’s your yearly reminder to clean out your old and outdated medications. Each year the Stay On Your Feet (SOYF) coalition and the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) offer medication cleanout bags to older adults to encourage them to return unused medication to pharmacies.

NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is requiring all Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs’ (OFSC) trails and trails utilizing Crown Land in the Health Unit district to close effective January 21, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. for the duration of the Stay-at-Home Order and will be reassessed at such time.
