News Release: Health Unit Receives Confirmation of 12 Additional Results for COVID-19 Variant Originating from South Africa

NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has received confirmation from Public Health Ontario labs that an additional 12 preliminary positive COVID-19 Variant of Concern (VOC) specimens are positive for the VOC originating from South Africa. NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) is confirming that a member of the St. Theresa Catholic School community has tested positive for COVID-19. NORTH BAY, ON – The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has received lab confirmation of a second individual testing positive for the COVID-19 Variant of Concern (VOC) originating from South Africa.
