The Health Unit continues to be open and available to answer questions and administer vaccines.  However, due to COVID-19, our regular services have been temporarily modified.  We are offering clinics on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday by appointment only. Please call us to book appointment or answer your questions.

Note: We currently do not have any Yellow Fever vaccine (YF-VAX). Please see Yellow Fever Centres in Ontario for availability.

Please note that we currently have an Adult Hepatitis A vaccine shortage.  Hepatitis A vaccine is available in a Twinrix vaccine (Hepatitis A and B) or a Vivaxim vaccine (Typhoid and Hepatitis A).  Please call the Health Unit for more information.

Please note: Payment for vaccines is by cash or debit only. We do not accept credit cards.

Flu Shot 

You can get your flu shot at the Health Unit offices. Call the Health Unit to book your flu shot appointment.

You can also get your flu shot by visiting your family doctor; or at participating pharmacies (ages 5 to 64 only). Check with your local pharmacy to confirm. 

Please note: High dosage flu shots are only available at the Health Unit or from your family doctor. 

Proof of legal guardianship/permission will be requested by the immunizing public health nurse when bringing a child other than your own to receive their flu vaccine.
