Public Service Announcement: Individual Tests Positive for COVID-19 at Silver Birches Elementary School

NORTH BAY, ON – An individual from the Silver Birches Elementary School community has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was at school during their infectious period. The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) has worked closely with the school and Near North District School Board to ensure all high-risk contacts were contacted and are aware they are required to self-isolate for a 14-day period. NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – Individuals in the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit (Health Unit) region born in 1961 or before are now able to book an appointment to attend one of the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics. NIPISSING & PARRY SOUND, ON – The COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics taking place at Memorial Gardens from April 3 to April 5, 2021 are now full.
