Come and join us to read a script out loud together. No experience necessary!

Our program simply involves gathering at scheduled intervals in the community, and in retirement homes, to read a script out loud together. An extension of our program involves going to see local theatre productions, and meeting beforehand for a bite, beverage and social chat.

• The West Parry Sound Recreation and Culture Centre is about to become a long-awaited dream come true for our community. With a six-lane swimming pool and a therapy pool at the heart of the new facility, the recreation centre will also house a regulation basketball court (and therefore pickleball, volleyball and badminton), a walking track and fitness area, as well as many smaller amenities appropriate to a community recreation centre.

• A full range of services will be available for all age groups. There will be many options for seniors, including aquafit classes, water therapy, lap swimming, walking track, age-appropriate exercise classes, line dancing, and meeting rooms for leisure time activities.

• Construction will commence in the fall of 2023 with a completion date of summer 2025.
