Your public health staff can help you promote health and wellbeing within your school community. We provide resources to teachers, administrators, and other professionals working with school-aged children and youth.

We offer:

  • Support for school health policy development
  • Resources to support classroom learning and a healthy school environment
  • Information on healthy eating, physical activity, mental health, healthy growth and development, injury prevention, tobacco and substance misuse prevention, dental health, hand hygiene, and infectious diseases.
  • Other public health services within your school may include: dental screenings, immunization clinics, sexual health clinics, and inspections
